About Dr. Nordella

Dr. Jeffrey Nordella earned his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1983 and has spent over four decades practicing family and urgent care medicine. He has served the communities of Santa Clarita and Porter Ranch, where he became a trusted and respected physician known for his patient-centered approach.

That commitment led to a 10-year legal battle against Anthem Blue Cross, one of the largest health insurers in the country—after he was excluded from their provider network, a decision he believed was retaliation for his outspoken patient advocacy. A Los Angeles jury ultimately found that Anthem Blue Cross acted with malice, oppression, and fraud.

He also stood up for the Porter Ranch community during the 2015 Aliso Canyon gas blowout, when patients were being sickened by toxic chemicals and told their symptoms were unrelated. Refusing to accept the gas company’s narrative, Dr. Nordella conducted independent medical testing that uncovered alarming health impacts, then publicly shared his findings—bringing national attention to a crisis many wanted buried.

Today, Dr. Nordella brings that same integrity and tenacity to his virtual practice, offering telehealth consultations for primary care, prescription support, and patient advocacy services—including help with billing disputes, insurance claims, and medical-legal consultations. His mission remains steadfast: to put patients first, always.
